AACC Easter Message -2026

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” 
(1 Peter 1:3, NIV).

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Seasonal greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and Happy Easter holidays.

The Easter season is one of those moments that reminds us of the depth of God’s love for humanity. As we pause to reflect on how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross, we also celebrate the victorious resurrection that brings us healing, restoration, and hope.

This year’s Easter finds many of us pursuing peace, restoration, and healing amid disturbing events such as floods and other climate change related calamities in several countries, highly contested elections, widespread economic hardship, and violent conflicts. We are deeply concerned about the ongoing war in the Middle East, particularly in the land where our Lord’s death and resurrection took place. In the midst of these challenges, Easter re affirms our living hope that we can overcome all, for through Christ’s triumph over death, we share in His victory. 

It is my prayer, therefore, that even as we celebrate this Easter, we hold fast to this living hope that sustains us and care for one another in ways that affirm the goodness and everlasting mercy of God to everyone around us.  Let us earnestly pray for peace and justice in Middle East; the land of resurrection, and for all God’s people who continue to suffer due to wars of choice or any form of injustice across the world. 

May the risen Christ fill our hearts with joy and our homes and communities with with love and peace.  Amen.
